Kings Park Central School District starts using FloMix

Last month FillPro Industries, Inc. performed a demonstration of FloMix® for keeping up with potholes in parking lots district wide in the most cost effective way. The facilities staff saw first hand how simple FloMix® is to apply and how much it saves over conventional hot asphalt patching.

We estimated that having a crew cut out and remove the pothole pictured above, cart away the debris, install RCA base, install hot asphalt, roll it and apply ACT at the seams would have taken a paving crew of five about three hours. The permanent patches pictured above were completed in 15 minutes and opened to traffic in less than half an hour. You can do the math.
